Lindsay Lohan’s Dad in Trouble Again

Teen queen Lindsay Lohan’s father was arrested for criminal contempt Monday on New York’s Long Island.

Michael Lohan allegedly violated an order of protection taken out by his wife Dina. It was reported that Daddy Lohan chased Lindsay when she showed up at her little brother's soccer game. Dina had previously obtained a restraining order against Michael in October, which means that he should not have been at the soccer game at all. Paul Sullivan, Dina's brother, said that Michael has threatened to murder his entire family. Yikes! Talk about emotional problems. The family is now under 24-hour security protection. After police nabbed Michael he complained of chest pains and was then taken to Winthrop-University Hospital for evaluation.

He has been charged with criminal contempt and driving under the influence. He is set to be arraigned upon his release from the hospital. This is just the latest in a string of arrests for Lohan. Last summer he was arrested for allegedly beating up his brother-in-law, Matthew Sullivan, with a shoe at a family function. He was arrested for skipping out on a $4,000 bill at a local hotel last April. And only two months ago, he pled guilty to assault charges against a New York City sanitation worker.

Despite all of this, Michael still says that he has a loving relationship with daughter Lindsay. He blames her friends for trying to "put a wedge between me and my daughter" and denies reports that Lindsay banned him from visiting her when she was hospitalized last month. It doesn't seem like Michael has a strong grip on reality or that he is very stable mentally. With Michael's frequent arrests he could very well get more press time than his famous daughter.
